Dube AgriZone is designated as a Special Economic Zone specialising in the propagation, cultivation, and processing of high-value agricultural and horticultural crops. Dube AgriZone offers the most technologically advanced future farming platform on the continent and is Africa’s first integrated perishables supply chain. The precinct has in place 16ha of greenhouses - the largest climate-controlled glass-covered growing area in Africa - coupled with dedicated post-harvest packhouses, a central distribution centre, nursery, and Dube AgriLab, a cutting-edge plant tissue culture laboratory, and hardening facility.
