Dube TradePort announces new CEO

The board of Dube TradePort Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Saxen van Coller as the corporation’s new CEO.

The appointment of Ms Van Coller – who has extensive business leadership experience – was approved by the Board of Dube TradePort and was supported by the Executive Council of the KwaZulu Natal provincial government last week.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to appoint a CEO with the experience and vision to take Dube TradePort to the next level of development,” board chairperson Dr Bridgette Gasa said today.

“These are exciting times for Dube TradePort, and we have no doubt Ms Van Coller will be able to provide leadership and focus to the strong management team we already have in place – particularly when it comes to her business experience, strong leadership and negotiation skills and understanding of strategy,” Dr Gasa said.

With expertise in manufacturing, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and fast-moving consumer-goods (FMGC), Ms Van Coller is well positioned and looking forward to heading one of KwaZulu Natal’s flagship economic development projects.

“Dube TradePort forms a key part of the province’s economic growth strategy, and I look forward to ensuring that it continues to play a vital role as the backbone of an efficient, integrated economic development zone for the province,” said Ms van Coller. ?
