Dube TradePort successfully hosted the over 250 delegates, who formed part of the East3Route tour through KwaZulu-Natal.
The high-level delegation from KwaZulu-Natal, Mozambique, the Seychelles and Swaziland, was lead by the MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs in KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Michael Mabuyakhulu. The visit forms part of the efforts by the province and its neighbouring countries to promote eco-tourism development as well as highlight the existing cultural and historical heritage.
The visit to Dube TradePort presented a unique opportunity for KwaZulu-Natal to share the advances it has made towards creating a real catalyst for economic growth within the region, in the form of a logistics platform that is aimed at catering for the African continent, facilitating intra Africa trade, investment, as well as the movement of passengers and goods in within the region.
