Dube TradePort End-of-Year Stakeholder Event

On Thursday 5 December 2013, Dube TradePort hosted its first end-of-year Stakeholder Awards Event. The formal luncheon drew the attendance of Dube TradePort’s Stakeholders, Tenants, Dube Cargo clients, Airline operators, freight forwarder and the shipping industry. All divisions of Dube TradePort were represented with key managers and client facing staff invited to host tables and fuel the networking sessions.  The event was to celebrate the performance of various key stakeholders, who have contributed towards the success of the Dube TradePort development. 

 

“We are proud that our infrastructural development here has opened the door to public and private co-operation and co-ordination which ensures direct and indirect involvement in the expansion and maturity of Dube TradePort” said Ms Saxen van Coller, CEO of Dube TradePort, during her welcome address.

Ms van Coller continued by saying, “we appreciate the concerted commitment of our stakeholders and would like to take the time to thank you all for the contribution you continue to make towards growing our business in a way that contributes to the improved quality of life for citizens of KwaZulu-Natal. “

 

Ms van Coller went on to announce the winners in the various categories:

1)    The Dube Cargo Terminal Award for Top Export Tonnage from Dube Cargo Terminal for 2013

-       Winner: Aeromarine

 

2)    The Dube Cargo Terminal Award for Top Import Tonnage from Dube Cargo Terminal for 2013

–      The 2nd Runner up:  DHL Global TBC

–      The 1st Runner up: DB Schenker TBC

–      Winner: Bidvest Panalpina Logistics TBC

 

3)    The Dube Cargo Terminal Award for Top Safety and Security

Winner: Hazpak Trainaid

 

4)    The Dube TradePort Special Award 2013

Winner: Emirates

 

5)    The Dube Development Award 2013

Winner: Shree Property Holdings

 

6)    The Dube TradePort CEO Award for “Tenant of the Year 2013”

7)    The Dube AgriZone Excellence Award 2013

Winner: Farmwise

 

 

8)    The Dube iConnect Excellence for the Top Performer of 2013 in the category of Open source Integrator on iConnect Platform.
